When I got into the fitness industry I was really naive as to how may BAD coaches were out there. This industry is littered with people who have no education, no integrity, and are willing to sacrifice their clients health at every turn just to promote themselves more. I honestly believe 95% of coaches are garbage and am very hesitant to recommend people to other coaches because of it. However, William Grazione is one of the good guys. William has a degree in exercise science, is an accomplished bodybuilder himself, someone I've worked with for prep who understands the proper principles of safe and effective nutrition & training coaching. But more than any of those credentials, what makes William a great coach is that he genuinely cares about people. I would trust William to coach my own wife. I highly recommend him as someone I trust.

Before finding William, I had coached myself through a couple of bikini competitions and attempted to adjust my own macros and cardio through my best estimations. I thought it had worked fine, but little did I know that hiring a coach would make all the difference. "Hello, my name is Karina and I’m a former low carber and cardio junkie."

My journey : I’ve been a fitness fanatic my whole adult life. I’ve taught group exercise classes for 10 years, was previously a personal trainer and a distance runner. I’ve ran 11 full marathons, over 40 half marathons and countless shorter distance races. Along the way, about 5 years ago, I completed a Figure and Fitness Model Competition. I worked with a coach who had me on a restrictive meal plan, cardio 5 days+ a week and a typical peak week depletion and dehydration protocol. After the show, due to all the restrictions, I experienced a traumatic post show rebound where I gained significant weight and was miserable. After yo-yo dieting for some time and dealing with binge eating I worked through this and lost the weight while eating low carb and exercising A LOT. I said I would never compete again due to the horrible post-competition experience. Also, all these ups and downs and excessive exercise really damaged my metabolism.

Fast forward to July 2015 when I started to get the itch to try competing again. However, I wanted to take a flexible dieting approach. I’ve known Will for many years and reached out to him for guidance. I expressed my concerns and he assured me we would be implementing a lifestyle approach versus a 12 week crash diet show plan. So, with Will’s coaching I successfully completed a Bikini Competition in December 2015 and took home a 4th and 5th place finish in two competitive divisions. This was with no crazy peak week “tricks” like water and sodium manipulation and minimal cardio throughout training.

The best part? 3 months post show and I am THE SAME WEIGHT as my show weight! Will’s methodical approach of decreasing my cardio, increasing my carbs, increasing my overall caloric intake slowly has helped me get to the point I’m doing almost zero cardio and my metabolism is now restored. The plan is to do another show in May or June 2016 and I have total confidence Will’s coaching will help me have another great experience. Will has helped me change my life and I am extremely grateful and proud to call him my coach.

Since starting my program with coach, I have found it amazingly encouraging and beneficial to have such a knowledgeable and realistic source of support from William Grazione. After going through a previous prep with a closed-minded coach, hours and hours of cardio, and a very tough port-show period, I was blown away that I was not only able to reach my LEANEST physique EVER, but I was able to do it via Flexible Dieting in which I was completely in charge of my own food choices, and I did not have to spend 4 hours a day in the gym, 7 days a week. Show day was SO enjoyable, I cannot describe how great it was to be able to enjoy the day without worrying about taking diuretics and dehydrating myself, eating tasteless, terrible food, and then blowing out my stomach and progress with post show binges.

'Healthy' is not typically a compliment you receive when on stage at a bodybuilding competition, but it is the compliment that mattered most to me (and I would argue William) when I was awarded professional status at my most recent show whilst I was coached under William's guidance.

I did not come to William in the healthiest metabolic state, and my prep did not go as smooth as planned, but I was constantly reassured, educated, and supported every step of the way. I literally just started competing last year. I did three competitions and was awarded my pro card at my 3rd show. For a rookie in the game, that is a very quick and rare climb to professional status. I was able to achieve this because of my drive and self motivation. I'm not afraid of hard work and sacrifices, and that is exactly what it took last year to get me through all three of those shows.

The preparations for those shows were excruciating and annoying, not because of the exercise portion-the workouts are the fun part. But because of the nutrition portion where I basically was confined to eating chicken, fish, beef, broccoli, every single day, 6x a day. I dreaded eating, which meant 6x per day I was basically depressed and disgusted. It was to the point that I had even contemplated if competing was really worth this misery.

Fortunately, I decided to try something different and reached out to William who introduced me to the world of flexible dieting. Lets just say I have never enjoyed prepping for a show as much as I have with this style of training! I enjoy having the option to still eat foods that I like, as long as I'm following macro guidelines and giving it my all in my workouts. As you can see, I was able to achieve results without having to completely compromise my desire for tasty foods. I'm a firm believer in doing what you love and love what you do. However I was quickly beginning to lose my love for this sport when I was restricted to a diet that had me choking down baked fish for breakfast, and then a binge session once every 3 weeks, better known as the infamous "cheatmeal." But working with William has made me look at contest prepping in a brand new light and has help me to realize that dieting for a show does not have to feel like you're serving a prison sentence. You should still have some freedom!

In the spring of 2015, I made the decision to return to the bodybuilding stage after a 3 year hiatus. I reached out to William and he responded back to me agreeing to take me on as a client. Candidly speaking, I never heard of him before however someone I know highly recommended him so dare say I took a leap of faith.

One thing I particularly liked about William's guidance was his ability to be flexible and make adjustments on the fly. Some coaches are prisoners of their methods and won't deviate regardless of the situation. Time and time again William displayed that he's capable and knowledgeable enough to obtain results from a multitude of approaches.

Another thing that stood out to me was William's attitude. He's not someone that needed to poke his chest out and bloviate about his coaching abilities, success with clients, etc. I never got the impression that he would blow smoke up my a double crooked letter and tell me only what I wanted to hear.

When it was all said and done, the smoked cleared and the dust finally settled, I along with William's help, was able to bring a competitive physique to the big, bad NPC stage. I was fortunate enough to win my class as a lightweight in the NPC Mike Matarazzo Classic and as a welterweight in the NPC West Virginia State/Mid Atlantic Grand Prix. Despite my immense fatigue, some trepidation, the physical violence I wanted to unleash on William when he had the unmitigated audacity to increase my cardio "AND" lower my macros, it was an unprecedented and very fulfilling experience.

My whole fitness journey started in 2013 when I decided to compete in the NPC as a bikini competitor. Long story short had a terrible experience with starvation and extreme diets along with extreme rebound after my second show. At the time I had heard of the so called IIFYM; which many people had told me it did not work or would only work with people who were already in shape, which at the time I obviously was not. I had gained 30 lbs in the very little time of three weeks!!! Yikes!

While doing my own research about this flexible dieting stuff I came upon William Grazione's website. i finally felt I had found what I was looking for. Decided to take the chance and give this new lifestyle a chance. I wanted to step back on that stage so bad but One thing was for sure. I was not going to put myself thru what I had done before. Started to work with William beginning of 2014 and all I have to say is that has been the best decision Ever. He not only helped me out with my physique and being able to step back on stage 2015 but most importantly He always put my mental and physical health first! He helped me found that balanced life I have always been looking for! I reached my goal to step back on stage the healthy and safe way. No extremes. No restrictions.

Finding Willian and hiring him as my coach has been a blessing in my life! He is not only an amazing Coach but he is a beautiful soul. I can say More than my coach; He is my Friend!

I am truly lucky to have found Coach William. I came to him in June 2014 feeling discouraged after working with a coach who gave me a cookie cutter “clean” meal plan and an extreme workout plan with no consideration of my personal journey or goals. I quickly failed. I was already in a weakened state with guilt and self-loathing as I had turned to food to get through a tough time. William was very attentive from the start, asking me about my past experiences and goals. Every step of the way he took the time to answer all of my questions as I had limited experience with both tracking my food and weight lifting. We reverse dieted for a few months, and then after I was in a good state metabolically, we did an experimental cut to see how my body would respond. And it did! So, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and enter a bikini competition. Coach William supported me 110% along the way, even when some of those closest to me did not. He believed in me when I didn’t even believe in myself. He prepared me for the competition the healthy way using flexible dieting. I was drinking lots of water and still enjoying some of my favorite foods like peanut butter and chocolate even right before hitting the stage! Other girls backstage were talking about how they were cut off from water the day before and hadn’t eaten.

The physical/mental strength that I have gained and the lessons that I have learned both in the gym and in the kitchen under William’s guidance are invaluable. He cares about his clients’ health and promotes strategies for long-term success.

I approached William in 2013 after coming off a consecutive two-year competition spree in the NPC. After competing at the level I was at, I knew that there had to have been a more reasonable approach to getting stage ready while maintaining a social life. I searched through different forums and social media outlets, which finally led me to William. After doing my initial “interview” with him I knew he was going to be a great coach to work with based off the rapport we had in that conversation.

After making the proper adjustments with my diet and training, William and I were able to have a perfect season together. I won my Men’s Physique NGA pro card at the Gator Classic in Ormond Beach, FL and won again a few weeks later by taking both the Men’s Physique tall class and Overall at the Southern Cross in Daytona Beach, FL. To top off my first season under William, I wont my pro debut at the Champions and Challengers show in Tampa, FL.

I was lucky enough to be able to be a student of the game and a client while being coached under William. Everything he suggested I do, I would turn it around and ask him why and without hesitation he would give me an answer. He has no problem with educating his clients to best help them achieve a greater understanding of their own body, in turn setting them up for both a psychological and physiological healthy life.

Coach William took me on as a client about 6 months out from my Provincial show. Through a healthy approach comprised of eating right and lifting big I was able to reach my best physique in both conditioning and size. We did this through a no bull, science based approach that didn't give me any meal restrictions, didn't require me to take anything I was uncomfortable with, no diuretics and no unhealthy manipulations you see 99% of the time while competing. So many competitors go to such crazy lengths to reach their best physique that end up being such a HUGE detriment to their health. With Coach William however, the journey will be hard but worth it. Over the past 11 years of my weightlifting and training career, I have trained with a very diverse range of trainers and coaches. Many of them taught me incredible things but none of which fit my lifestyle and my needs more perfectly then William Grazione. At first I was hesitant about using an online trainer, because it was my first time. But after working with Will for only a few weeks I realized that I was working with one of the best. Before working with Will, I was a very strict "clean eater". I was prepping for my first professional bodybuilding show using my old meal plan that my previous coach had given me for my first competition. I was flying solo hoping that I would be ready in time. With just six weeks left, I was lucky enough to have a friend recommend Will. Even with such short notice and very little time left to prep me for the stage he took me on. He was able to completely change my outlook on show prep, dieting, and the sport of bodybuilding as a whole in a matter of six weeks. When I decided I wanted to finally prep for a bikini competition, I knew I needed a good coach that not only knew what they were doing, but truly cared about their clients health as well. When I found William and emailed him, I immediately knew that he was the coach for me. He took the time to ask me a ton of questions - about my dieting history, if I knew about flexible dieting, and my goals all before I even committed to the contest prep. I've been a personal trainer for about 2 years now and got into lifting & competing around 3 years ago. When I first decided to do a show I had been lifting for only a few months and set a goal to do a bikini show only to mark it off the bucket list and be in the best shape of my life. I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into, how much work it was going to be, and that my body (as well as my caloric intake) was no where near ready to be dieting down. I set my mind to do whatever it was going to take to look my "best"... and by that I mean 7 days a week of at least 45 minutes of fasted cardio, "clean foods" only, no dairy, no fruit, nothing processed, calories less than 1,000 a day, 2 hours in them gym, and basically no life outside of it all. Yes, I did look what I thought was the "best" I had in my life at the time...but I was at my all time scrawny best.

By the time those long 11 miserable weeks were over, I was burnt out and wanted to eat everything in site...so I did. I can definitely say I developed some crazy food disorder that doesn't even have a name yet. One week I was "refeeding" with massive amounts of food to the point where I wanted to throw up, and the next week I was going as low carb as possible while doing fasted cardio trying to make up for my binges. Also can't forget to mention that on those low carb weeks I was so scared to eat an extra 5g of carbs because I thought it was going to make me fat (which doesn't even make since, I know). I was mentally screwed for about 4 months post show.

Between the time after my first bikini show (March, 2012) and before I started working with Will (January, 2014), I yo yo'ed like crazy trying to restore my metabolism and find peace with my confidence and image. I had in the back of my mind that I wanted to try and compete again one day but there was no part of me that wanted to go through what I did in the past, so I started looking for a coach.

When I began with Will, we reverse dieted me for about 6 weeks before we started cutting me for the 2014 season and got me up to 235g carbs daily. I gained a little weight but I was actually looking better in some places and was very pleased with my gains in such a short amount of time. When we started cutting, I was literally shocked when Will told me that the prep diet was also going to be flexible. I had thought that was only done during the reverse dieting so I was excited but confused at the same time. Obviously, it worked, and NOW I can proudly say I'm in the best shape of my life.

This prep was not even comparable to my last. I was a real human! Meaning I could actually think, have conversations with someone who wasn't in prep mode, go out in public outside of work, and actually live my normal life the way I like to. When it came to prepare for the stage, I could actually focus on my routine rather than (like most of the other girls) how tired I was and what/how much I was going to eat afterwards. I ended the season with a 1st place bikini novice and 3rd place bikini open at one show, and also got 4th place bikini open at a much larger show.

What Will has taught me about flexible dieting has literally changed both my life and my fiancé's (who also competes). Like I said above, my first bikini show I did only to mark it off the list. But now, I literally have a new found love and passion for it. Both my fiancé and I feel like its now realistic to keep competing & improving our physiques while still living a normal life by going out and having dinner & wine together without feeling guilty afterwards. I no longer fear carbs and enjoy finding new and exciting meals to have that I had once banned myself from. There's no going back now and I have coach Will to thank for that!

I will start off by saying that working with William has not only been a very fun and positive experience, but also one of the smartest moves I have made as an amateur bodybuilder aspiring to be an IFPA pro. I had come to a point in my training where going by feel or instincts no longer provided the rate of progress that I knew I was capable of. If I wanted to improve as an athlete I was going to have to get a more structured training program that forced progression and was more suited to my training status in terms of Volume, Frequency, and intensity. William proceeded to design a program catered to me known as Daily Undulating Periodization (DUP). Something that really stands out to me about William and how he designed this program, is he took in to consideration my goals. He made the program in a way that I can progress not just as a bodybuilder but also improve my powerlifting.

Before starting with William I set some goals for myself on what I wanted to achieve for 1 rep maxes by a certain amount of time. I made these goals "unrealistic", knowing that even if I came close it would still mean that I had made some great progress. 6 weeks into my training, I retest my 1 rep maxes for all 3 of my lifts. I had increased my total by 155 pounds destroying the goals that I believed to "unrealistic". I was so surprised by this, that I plan to compete in powerlifting meets before I return to the bodybuilding stage.

My results speak for themselves, if your looking for a Coach who is educated and truly cares about his clients success, on top of already being an elite athlete himself then you have come to the right place. Thanks for everything William!!!

I first started lifting my senior year of high school. I was instantly hooked! I also started to change my diet at that point and I lost 20lb! I wasn't eating nearly enough though. I was light headed and starving the whole day. I was miserable and after a while I hit a plateau. I then fell off track and started to binge. I forgot how much I LOVED food! I gained all my weight back plus more. I wanted to take lifting to the next level and decided to do a figure competition. I was on your typical 6 meals a day and 1 1/2 hours of cardio. I got lean but not enough and I hardly had any muscle maturity. After my show I, again, binged. Gained all my weight back plus some. Then my husband ran across Layne Norton and Layne referred us to William. Seriously the best decision I've ever made! Since working with William I have learned balance with food, lifting, and life. I am able to be comfortable in my own skin and not be afraid of food. LADIES and GENTS, I wouldn't even think twice about working with William. He is seriously so encouraging and motivating! Whenever I second guess myself, he always reassures me. Also, it's more personal. He doesn't just throw a meal plan at you and expect you to be perfect. He understands that life happens and makes the process more enjoyable! I am eating more and lifting more than I ever have in my entire life. I’m Tyler Creighton. On March 10, 2012, I weighed almost 400 lbs and I was over 60% body fat. I was able to crash diet down to around 185 and 22% body fat with almost no carbohydrates, and then I gained to about 220 lbs and 22% body fat when I tried to re-integrate a regular eating routine. I sought professional help and found William Grazione with Metabolic Evolution. Since working with William, I am leaner than I have ever been in my life, cutting my body fat to, as of April 11th 2014, 14.0%. He helped me get from 21% to 14% in a matter of weeks while also losing about 30lbs. I am in the process of reverse dieting and increasing my calories and macros weekly under his steady supervision. As of May, I am now down to under 190 pounds and in the 12% body fat range.

I couldn’t be happier with the progress we have made and I have found William attentive, responsive, and caring. I highly recommend him.

Also, I have only gained a few pounds and have maintained near stage lean 4 months later. Meanwhile, my workouts have improved in strength and duration. I have learned so much about nutrition and exercise since acquiring his services. I've been lifting weights and working out most of my adult life struggling with the same routine. With no guidance advances were coming slow; and becoming strong & shredded seemed nearly impossible. I have had the pleasure of working with William Grazione, for the past four months and what an awesome experience it has been. I contacted Mr. Grazione with the intention of getting in the best shape of my life. Looking stage ready, and gaining a sense of what proper dieting, and lifting was.

When I started with Mr. Grazione, I was 170lbs and a waist measurement of 32 inches. Since then I have lost over 30lbs and 5-1/2inches of my waist! The results I have been working towards over the past 3 years, and was unable to achieve on my own. I was able to achieve in 4 months with Mr. Grazione. I started lifting weights at the age of 16 and immediately fell in love with it. It became hard to stay out of the gym, as my passion for fitness grew, and I soon began lifting 5-6 days a week. After a few years of lifting, I hit a hard and long plateau where my size and strength not only stabilized but also started to decline. That was when I decided to start doing research on exercise/nutrition and soon came to realize that I was missing very important elements in my fitness regime. Eventually, I set aside a lot of the bro-science I believed in and started tracking my macronutrients. I was soon able to reach a metabolic capacity of over 400g of carbohydrates daily, maintaining a steady weight at 185lbs, while increasing my strength. I got into powerlifting at 19 years of age and set a few state records, along with one American record, under the USPA powerlifting federation. Lifting became a huge priority in my life. After a few meets, I started thinking about transitioning into bodybuilding as my love for competition grew. I became interested in bodybuilding after watching several videos of natural bodybuilders and decided to do my first bodybuilding show, which led to my first competitive bodybuilding season! However, I felt the need for a coach because I had never done a contest prep before, and I did not want to go about it without guidance from someone. I asked the biggest guy in the gym to help me out, and I was put on a cookie-cutter diet plan despite my knowledge of flexible dieting and metabolic capacity. Throughout my 10-week prep with this coach I ate tilapia, yams, and broccoli every two hours. I was miserable. I also lost a lot of strength, and I assume that I probably lost a significant amount of muscle.

After the show, I immediately contacted a new coach and prepared myself to bomb this guy with questions to make sure that he was legitimate. He was. I would send him emails with a variety of questions regarding nutrition and training, and I had always received detailed responses back. William Grazione has a vast amount of knowledge regarding training and nutrition and is always quick to answer my questions questions. My old coach had never gone into detail on any of the questions I asked and would give me vague answers, so when William sent me emails with detailed answers to my questions, I would get excited as I am very passionate about nutrition and exercise. On top of that, coach William helped me take my physique to another level without instructing me to eat the same food, six times a day, while doing endless, boring LISS cardio. I ended up entering my next bodybuilding show 10lbs lighter, looking way more shredded, and completely hydrated. Throughout my prep with William, I was able to efficiently take my physique to a whole new level of shred I had never seen before without any extra unnecessary stress and harmful weight-loss methods.

Aside from being a great coach, he has also been an awesome mentor to me. He inspires me to be the best that I can be through his motivating and encouraging words. I feel that he truly cares about not only helping me achieve the best physique possible, but also making sure that I am healthy both physically and mentally. William Grazione is someone I trust, and I am very lucky and proud to have him as a coach, mentor, and friend. Thank you, William Grazione, for being part of my fitness journey and helping me to believe and realize that I am full of potential and fully capable of achieving my dreams!

From as I far as I can go back, working out has always been a passion of mine. Entering the gym is walking into my world, barricading my social life, school life, and work life. I started working with William in January 2013. At that time, I was transitioning from focusing primarily on strength training in the gym simply for physical fitness, to the sport of triathlon. Of course, triathlon training requires an individual to focus more on endurance activities (swimming, biking, and running), which was something rather new to me. In addition, in order to prepare for the upcoming race season I was performing endurance training (swim, bike, run) 9 times per week (3 swim workouts, 3 bike workouts, 3 run workouts), as well as trying to maintain a basic strength training program. Needless to say, I was burning significantly more calories than I was when strength training alone. As a result, my energy level plummeted and I started losing significant weight. This in turn was negatively affecting the quality of my workouts, my mood, and my overall ability to just get through my day without feeling like a zombie.

Prior to working with William, I thought I had a good understanding of nutrition. I always ate a very clean diet while strength training and didn’t understand why the things I was doing and eating were not fixing my problems. However, William explained that I needed to make some unexpected changes in my diet in order to maximize not only the quality of my workouts, but also the results of those workouts in order to continue to improve. In addition, by making the dietary changes it would also allow me to get back to feeling like myself. What an incredible difference his changes made. I immediately noticed an improvement in my energy levels. I was no longer struggling to get through my workouts, but instead improving my times in all three disciplines. In addition, I started eating things I never thought were “healthy”, but turned out to be a necessary part of any diet to allow the body to function at its highest level.

Throughout this process, William was always available to me anytime I had a question or needed clarification on something. William’s level of professionalism was amazing. He gave great attention to every detail of my nutrition plan based on my personal needs. Everything was personal to me and me alone. Nothing was ever done on a “generic” or “across the board” level. One of the other things I was most impressed with was that William’s suggestions and explanations always had a “scientific” explanation. Often times he even provided me with literature to support whatever change he was recommending. Nothing was ever done without an explanation, nor was it done just because “William thought it was best”. It was done because there was scientific evidence that substantiated these things. With William, you not only get a personal trainer that’s achieved incredible personal success with his own diet/nutrition/training, but you also get an extremely well educated and knowledgeable teacher/coach.

I would highly recommend William to anyone looking to improve their diet and/or training program. I can assure you he will exceed your expectations in helping you achieve your desired results.

William not only helped me achieve my professional status but also opened my eyes to a much more efficient and healthier way to manage my contest preparation. I first met William Grazione as an opponent in a local competition in Sanford Florida. I was very impressed with his conditioning but mostly with the way he carried himself as a person and athlete. After that show we became friends and I started following his consecutive track record of victories and his excellent conditioning every time he stepped on stage.

I’ve been competing for over five years and was also very surprised by William’s consistency in his conditioning and improvements. In 2011, after winning the Overall title at the NGA Sunshine State Classic, I realized that something was missing and that I was still unable to achieve my best.
